Scott's Bio

I think that is it important for my clients and potential future clients to know a little bit about me, my background, and my business. I am a thorough Bostonian, having grown up in Walpole, Massachusetts. I attended high school at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut and then proceeded to the University of Vermont for my college degree.
 

I have strived to be a leader in the financial services industry since November 1997, having earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM - CFP® certification in October 2005; the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation in 2006 and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation in 2007. In 2009, I also became a Financial Adviser through Eagle Strategies LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor.
 

Along with earning these designations, I have been fortunate enough to hold presentations/seminars for different retiree and pre-retiree groups, in MA, RI, NH and CT for the past decade. Doing so has introduced me to some wonderful clients and lasting relationships.
 

Since the year 2000, I have consecutively qualified for the top honors of Chairman’s Council as a New York Life Agent, ranking me in the top 3 percent of New York Life's elite sales force of more than 12,000 licensed agents in sales achievements. Since 2004, I have moved into the Chairman’s Cabinet Council rankings, placing me in the top 50 highest producing agents among New York Life's elite sales force of more than 12,000 licensed agents.
 

In addition, I have qualified for Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) for 14 consecutive years. The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals, is recognized globally as the standard of excellence for life insurance sales performance in the insurance and financial services industry. For the 2009 year, I achieved the highest MDRT honors by receiving Top of the Table status, which is the highest level of MDRT membership and places me among the top professionals in the global life insurance and financial services industry. It recognizes me for demonstrating exceptional professional knowledge, client service and ethical conduct.

I attribute all these successes to meeting and working with great client's, who I have been blessed to build long, lasting relationships with. Most of my client's continue to work with me as their life changes occur and I have been lucky enough to have that relationship pass down through some of their families and into the next generation. I find no bigger compliment to my business practice, then working with generations of families.
 

And of course, I could never do any of this, if I didn't have a fantastic support system at home. My wife and I still reside in Walpole, MA, where we both grew up, with our four wonderful children. In my spare time I enjoy coaching my children’s hockey teams and being as dedicated to their lives as I am to my business.
